April is a Bay Area native and a founding partner of Village Associates. She has served on their Board of Directors for many years. April and her husband moved to Orinda in 1993 “for the schools” with their two young daughters, Lauren and Hillary, now Miramonte graduates. April’s customer service, marketing skills and professional integrity were sharpened as an Executive for Nordstrom. She helped to introduce them to California in 1978. After Nordstrom, came 11 years of clothing development and traveling overseas to implement designs and negotiate production contracts.
